Emily Yeiser Stepp

Emily Yeiser Stepp began her involvement in the dairy industry through the Maryland 4-H dairy leasing program where she was able to borrow a calf from a local dairy farm to show at local, county and state fairs. Yeiser Stepp was a member of the Maryland 4-H Dairy Judging Team, winning high individual overall and reasons at World Dairy Expo and the All American Dairy Show contests.
She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from Penn State where she was an active member of the Dairy Science Club and member of the collegiate dairy judging team that was first place at the All American Dairy Show contest and where Emily was high individual in reasons. She also received her Master’s degree in Dairy Science from Virginia Tech.
She has maintained her passion for dairy judging at local, county and state youth and open shows while also coordinating and officiating the Maryland State 4-H Judging Contest, officiating the World Dairy Expo 4-H contest and serving as the past coach of the Delaware Valley Collegiate Judging team.
Emily and her family own a small herd of 20 registered Holsteins and Brown Swiss under the Spots-Pride prefix, that are housed at Palmyra Farm in Maryland and Bullcreek Farm in Pennsylvania, with the Brown Swiss being recognized with recent All American nominations.
Yeiser Stepp is currently the Senior Director of Industry Affairs with fairlife and lives in Leesburg, VA with her husband Cody, and two daughters, Devon and Keighan.
